Hello, and welcome to the Lyrical Labradors website. We're a small hobby kennel located near Smith Mountain Lake, just outside of beautiful Roanoke, Virginia. We own and love the English Labrador and breed for correct type, soundness, temperament, and workability.
Lyrical labs are outstanding dogs whether they are in the show ring, field, or just family companions.
We fully support the efforts of Saint Francis Of Assisi Service Dog Foundation and have (and will continue) to donate Lyrical representatives to their wonderful service dog program. Currently we are only breeding chocolates.
Lyrical's breeding stock has solid pedigrees with champion bloodlines. Our labradors are always x-rayed, and certified by OFA to be clear of hip/elbow dysplasia, and ACVO/ CERF'd annually for any signs of genetic eye disease. We Optigen screen for PRA genetic markers as well.
