How much does it cost to adopt a puppy?

Answer: Depending on the breeding, our pups range from $800-1000, which includes a deposit of $200 to reserve a pup. The deposit then places you on our waiting list. This helps us to distinguish serious inquiries from those that are not.

Is the $200 deposit to reserve a pup refundable?

Answer: Your deposit is NONREFUNDABLE , except where THE DESIRED SEX IS NOT PRODUCED IN THE LITTER . (ie: If there are only 3 females, and 4 buyers for females.   The buyer has the option of taking a male, waiting for the next litter, or get the deposit back.)

Do you interview prospective puppy buyers?

Answer: Yes. We, the breeders, interview all prospective buyers to ensure that the home will be a good one for the pup and the pup a good match for the people.

We, the breeders, are always available for questions, concerns, and education regarding the pup's health, welfare, and upbringing.   The process begins when a potential buyer submits a puppy questionnaire.

Can you ship our puppy to us?

Answer: If you live long-distance, we DO ship pups, weather permitting. Direct flights only, non-stop, no changeovers. We use flights out of Greensboro, NC or Roanoke, VA. Pups must be 10 weeks old to fly. Please contact us about setting up airline company, times, flight schedule, etc.

Cost usually averages $200, in addition to the purchase price. Most airlines charge $170 to $180 for the pup, plus the cost of the flight-approved shipping crate.

We are pretty flexible in trying to accommodate the buyers schedule, and choice of airline flights, time, etc.   However, the health and safety of the pup ALWAYS comes first.

Does my puppy come with a guarantee?

Answer: Yes, with conditions. Click here for more information.

What if I can no longer take care of my dog? Will you take it back?

Answer: Absolutely YES. We will always take any dog of our breeding, at any time of the dog's life, if the owner can no longer keep the dog, for any reason. You do not have to be the original owner. Of course, the owner does NOT get a replacement pup.

Can we come out and visit the dogs without an obligation to buy?

Answer: Visitors are welcome in our home, although there are times when we limit visitation to protect the health of a new litter. There's never an obligation to buy.

Do your puppies come microchipped?

Answer: Yes. Our puppies are a part of our ever-growing family, and because of that, we want to make sure that their lives are always protected to the greatest degree. By microchipping the puppy, we significantly increase the likelihood of recovering any of our dogs if they are lost or stolen.

Are your puppies vaccinated and dewormed?

Answer: Yes. All our puppies come with their first vaccinations and are also dewormed before going home with their new owners.
